A Monastery village perched on sheer cliffs above wide Himalayan skies. The structure rises in tiers—stone foundations carved directly into the rock, red timber galleries wrapping the perimeter, and a central pagoda-like roof anchoring the composition. Warm interior light spills outward, contrasting the cold, moody exterior. I designed the stairways and terraces to feel ritualistic, guiding the eye upward from hidden cave entrances to the communal hall above. The environment is intentionally minimal to emphasize the monastery as both refuge and beacon.
